Summary:
The Canada Goose is a large bird introduced to Britain from North America. It has a brown back and white rump, the neck and face are black, but there is a distinctive white patch on the underside of the head that looks a little like a thick chin strap. The short tail is black, and the legs and feet are grey.
Ecology:
Feeds on grass and other vegetation, also seeds if available. Nests in waterside vegetation.
